Welcome to Mrs Everett's Kindergarten.
Children are precious, and I view each child as a unique individual. I promise to offer special care and attention to each student. I will hug, praise, and offer encouragement throughout each day.
I have years of valuable experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. I have held various positions including a 5-year term as Executive Director of a non-profit school-based child care center in Toronto, Canada. Since moving to College Station 22 years ago, I completed my Bachelor of Applied Science in Education at Texas A&M and obtained an Elementary Teaching Certificate. This will be my fifteenth year as a kindergarten teacher at College Hills.
I was born in Birmingham, England, and my passion for travel has taken me to many interesting parts of the world. I have two children and my husband, is a professor at Texas A&M University
I feel communication between home and school is essential to the learning process. I would like to extend an invitation to you to send me an e-mail or call me whenever you have questions.
My conference period is from 1:10-2:10 p.m. I will stay in touch with you through e-mail, telephone calls, Remind 101, newsletters, individual conferences, and report cards.
I am looking forward to a great year!
Sincerely,
Elaine Everett.
